Early life
Allende was born on 13 February 1978 in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. His parents separated in 1992, and he moved with his mother to Georgetown on Tanoa when he was 14. His father remained in Comodoro Rivadavia but continued paying part of his school expenses. He wrote to Allende and visited him in Georgetown in 1994.

Allende completed secondary school in Georgetown while working part-time as a mechanic's assistant. In 1996, he applied to TTano to receive advanced technical instruction that wasn't available through the workshop where he worked.
