Luganville is a coastal town on the eastern side of Tanoa.
Geography and economy
[edit | edit source]Luganville lies on Tanoa's eastern coast. Farms around the town grow bananas and sugarcane.
History
[edit | edit source]From 1944 until 30 November 2024, Luganville was within the territory controlled by the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen, which held effective control over Tanoa during that period.[1] The collapse of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen on 30 November 2024 ended the state authority that had governed the town.[2]
