Peter Pecker's Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII is a 2018 standard-wheelbase Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII used by Peter Pecker from 2019 until his death in 2025. The car was bought for €560,000 by Snubable Enterprise, which registered it in Romania and gave Pecker exclusive personal use. It was sold to a private buyer for €360,000 at the Bucharest Butchers vehicle auction on 24 September 2026.

Acquisition and use

Pecker ordered the Phantom in 2018 with a personalised specification. Snubable Enterprise paid €560,000 for the car, including Romanian VAT, and registered it in its own name. Pecker received it between January and June 2019. He drove the Phantom extensively over the following six years. By the time it was auctioned in 2026, the car had approximately 130,000–160,000 km on its odometer.

Specification

The Phantom had a 3,552 mm wheelbase and measured 5,762 mm in length. Its 6,749 cc twin-turbocharged V12 produced 420 kW (571 PS) and drove the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Pecker chose Dark Indigo Metallic paint without a coachline. The car had fully polished 21-inch Style 678 alloy wheels with centres painted to match the body. Exterior Black Detailing was fitted, together with a solid-silver Spirit of Ecstasy bonnet ornament.

The interior used Seashell leather with Navy Blue secondary trim. High Gloss Royal Walnut veneer covered the main decorative surfaces, with High Gloss Canadel panelling in the rear compartment and across the front. The Gallery retained its standard presentation, while the Starlight Headliner used the regular star arrangement. The steering wheel was trimmed in Navy Blue leather, matching the rear compartment curtains and colour-keyed boot trim. The rear windows had privacy glass.

Pecker retained the three-passenger rear lounge, giving the Phantom five seats in total. A specially adapted cool chamber was incorporated without removing the centre rear seating position. The rear picnic tables were omitted. At the front, both seats had ventilation and massage functions.

The car had Rolls-Royce Bespoke Audio with DAB digital radio reception. Its telephony system included wireless charging. The Ambient Air Package and Smoker's Package were also fitted, along with Comfort Entry and a universal garage-door opener.

Driving equipment included Active Cruise Control and Driving Assistant. High Beam Assistant was paired with a head-up display, while Night Vision provided pedestrian recognition. Park Distance Control and Surround View assisted with parking. Stolen Vehicle Tracking was also fitted.

Recovery and sale

Before his capture and death on 1 May 2025, Pecker left the Phantom at Snubable Enterprise's main complex in Căciulați, Ilfov County. The organization surrendered on 6 May.[1] Investigators later searched the vehicle and recovered Pecker's Dreyse Model 1907 pistol, which was identified as the weapon used to kill a police officer in Switzerland during the late 2000s.[2] They removed the pistol as evidence and left the Phantom at the complex.

On 24 September 2026, the Phantom was sold at the Bucharest Butchers vehicle auction for a hammer price of €360,000. Richard Rambam's 2020 Lamborghini Urus was sold at the same auction.[3] The Phantom remained mechanically sound, although the upholstery showed visible use and the exterior had minor marks. It remained in Romania after the sale.
