Richard Rambam's Lamborghini Urus is a 2020 Lamborghini Urus that he bought new for personal use. It replaced an earlier Urus that Rambam wrecked in 2019. The car retained its factory specification during his ownership and was confiscated after his execution in May 2025. It sold for €156,000 at the Bucharest Butchers vehicle auction on 24 September 2026.
Acquisition
Rambam's previous Urus had been brought to a workshop operated by Sârbu on 9 February 2019.[1] On 22 August that year, he crashed it into the central barrier of the DN1 near Otopeni. Sârbu assessed the damage as beyond economical repair and disposed of the wreck for salvage.
On 20 May 2020, Rambam ordered a new Urus through Sârbu's dealership operation in Voluntari, Ilfov County. He paid for the vehicle himself, while Sârbu arranged the order through a European Lamborghini supplier. The order received a 2020-model-year production allocation, but the disruption to Lamborghini's production in spring 2020 delayed its completion and delivery. Rambam collected the Urus from Sârbu in Voluntari on 18 December and received its keys and purchase documents. Permanent Romanian registration had been completed in his name before collection.
Specification
The Urus had Lamborghini's 3,996 cc twin-turbocharged V8, producing 650 CV and 850 Nm of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission drove all four wheels. Adaptive air suspension and rear-wheel steering formed part of the original driving system. Rambam ordered the six-mode ANIMA configuration with the off-road driving modes. The car also had the optional 85-litre fuel tank and an electrically retractable tow hitch.
Its Bianco Icarus Metallic paint was paired with the factory Body Color Style Package, giving the wheel-arch surrounds a body-coloured finish. The car was delivered on 22-inch Nath wheels finished in Titanium Matt, with black brake calipers and Pirelli P Zero summer tyres. The original carbon-ceramic brakes were retained. Other factory equipment included an electric panoramic roof and Black Matt exhaust tailpipes. Transparent protective film covered the exterior areas designated in the original order.
The cabin had five seats upholstered in Nero Ade and Bianco Polar Bicolor Elegante leather, with matching stitching. Both front seats were electrically adjustable in 18 ways and had heating and ventilation. They also had massage functions. Open-pore wood with aluminium inlay covered the dashboard inserts and door trim. Bianco Polar seat belts and leather upper-cabin trim completed the interior. Four-zone air conditioning was fitted with the Premium Air Quality System and auxiliary heating.
Rambam selected the Full ADAS Package, including a head-up display and Top View Camera. Night Vision and Remote Park Assist were also fitted. The standard eight-speaker audio system was retained, alongside a DAB digital radio and television tuner. The original order included a cargo liner and the Smoker Package, but no Pet Care accessories. The vehicle came with the standard three-year manufacturer warranty and a separate three-year maintenance plan.
Use
Rambam continued driving the Urus in its original factory configuration. He did not commission any engine tuning or bodywork alterations from Sârbu. The car also remained unarmoured. By the time investigators recovered it on 4 May 2025, its odometer showed 142,000 km.
Confiscation and sale
Rambam was executed in Bucharest on 1 May 2025.[2] Investigators found the Urus in a private garage in Bucharest three days later and moved it into secure vehicle storage. The Comisia Română pentru Reconstrucție administered assets seized from the Bucharest Butchers and Snubable Enterprise during Romania's institutional reconstruction.[3] The reconstructed Romanian authorities subsequently confiscated the Urus.
The car was sold at the Bucharest Butchers vehicle auction on 24 September 2026. Bidding reached €156,000, with its ownership history contributing to the interest in the vehicle despite its mileage. A private Romanian buyer purchased the Urus, kept it for personal use and registered it in Romania.
